Position
The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Design (CPD) is recruiting a Liaison and Training Officer (LTO) to work from 15 August 2026 (or as soon as possible) until 31 July 2032.
About the Center
CPD is a multidisciplinary research centre that brings together biology, chemistry, computer science, physics and related fields to advance protein design. The portal aims to tackle key challenges in healthcare and sustainability through a collaborative network of experts and partners.
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and refine the 1+3 CPD PhD programme and related support processes.
- Liaise with national and international partners to strengthen the CPD network for PhD and research training.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding and follow‑up of CPD PhD students.
- Coordinate CPD PhD and Master’s courses and align them with other units’ courses.
- Promote CPD for Master’s thesis projects.
- Assist with organization of CPD events such as the CPD Annual Conference.
- Support teaching planning for research staff.
- Contribute to annual reporting on teaching and training.
- Manage communication and promotion of CPD training (announcements, website, social media).
- Promote CPD training and teaching activities locally, nationally and internationally.
Expectations
The candidate should have a strong drive to work in science administration at the intersection of natural and life sciences, supporting collaboration in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with ambitious goals.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential Experience and Skills
- Relevant academic degree at the Master’s level or higher, ideally in a scientific discipline.
- Proven ability to envision, plan and execute projects and programmes.
- Experience in event coordination, planning and meeting deadlines under time pressure.
- Team player, service‑mindful with organisational, communication and networking skills.
- Effective interaction with research and administrative staff at all levels.
