Job Summary In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring operational continuity, reliability of the electrical systems and compliance with technical and regulatory standards. Major Responsibilities
- Directing and supervising the installation, calibration and commissioning of instrumentation and control systems.
- Managing preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of electrical, automation and control systems.
- Coordinating configuration, programming and optimization of industrial monitoring and control systems.
- Planning, coordinating and supervising the activities of the team to ensure compliance with operational objectives.
- Managing human, technical and material resources of the electrical maintenance area.
- Controlling and evaluating execution of work in terms of quality, deadline and costs.
- Developing and controlling the budget of the area, monitoring costs and investments.
- Supervising electric power generation and transmission processes to ensure continuity of operations.
- Coordinating maneuvers and work on high, medium and low voltage electrical equipment (AT, MT and BT).
- Ensuring compliance with applicable safety, occupational health, environmental and management system standards. Education and Experience Requirements Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience. Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar positions in mining and similar sectors. Must have a qualification from the College of Engineers of Peru (CIP). Required Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge in electrical systems, substations, transmission lines and electrical maintenance.
- Knowledge of the National Electricity Code and applicable regulations.
