- Work Location: Yanacocha Project Overview Located 800 km northeast of Lima, Peru, Yanacocha is South America’s largest gold mine. The WTP Project consists of two of the largest acid water treatment plants in South America (West capacity 3,000 m³/hour and East 2,700 m³/hour). Early works are currently performed on site, preparing permanent platforms, laydown areas, and the Class 2 estimate, Level 3 schedule and execution plan. Job Summary This role will perform non‑routine engineering/planning and cost scheduling activities for the Yanacocha WTP project. You will establish relationships with stakeholders, perform schedule analysis and integration, identify constraints, quantify risks, monitor costs and performance, recommend alternatives, and provide training sessions and workshops. Your activities will synthesize the project components for perfect execution. Major Responsibilities
- Ensure fulfillment of construction objectives within established deadlines and standards.
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure that weekly hour reports are consistent and logically integrated into the total project.
- Review the analysis of the project schedule and studies of problem areas to determine criticality of scheduled activities.
- Collect and analyze alternatives to align weekly hour reports.
- Review and prepare CBP budgets in accordance with prescribed standards and procedures.
- Prepare costs using historical data, statistical analysis, and cost and quantity comparisons.
- Lead workshops, interviews and information gathering to align weekly reports.
- Carry out risk quantification activities as required. Education and Experience Requirements Required: degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience, or 14-17 years of experience in absence of degree. Required Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience in invoice tracking and payment preparation.
- Proven experience in quantity tracking.
