Job Description: Writer/Researcher for YouTube Crime Channel

This position entails research, critical thinking, and creative writing. As part of this role, you will be responsible for scripting content for a YouTube channel focusing on real crimes. The scripts should be highly descriptive, incorporating intriguing facts, rooted in real events, and presented in a storytelling format. For instance, when narrating the story of a victim like Juanito, you must vividly describe the scene, delve into Juanito's background to make the audience empathize with him, and detail the circumstances of his murder, including the weapon used, location, and weather conditions.

The storytelling aspect should be interspersed with interesting facts that captivate and educate the audience, such as statistics on similar crimes worldwide or physiological effects like adrenaline rush on the body.

Research will be a crucial aspect of this role, requiring sourcing information from various credible outlets including books, videos, the internet, and social media platforms like Twitter. Accuracy and verifiability are paramount, and information must be cross-checked from multiple sources.

Writer will write five (5) scripts and deliver them via word document each Sunday at or before 11 pm. Each script will consist of 13,000 words.

Each script should include:
- A segment written in the first person from the perspective of either the killer or the victim.
- Quotes from the victim and killer throughout the script (to be read by the YouTuber in first person).
- Quotes from relevant books with proper referencing including author, book’s name and publication date.

At the end of each script, a citations page must be included, listing all sources used. You should cite different sources. Only reliable, professional sources such as authentic trial notes, books, government records, and interviews with family members are acceptable.
