Merchandiser - Ny - Lima Liaison

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with factory management and suppliers
- Partner with NY buying team to manage capacity by factory to ensure on time deliveries
- Act as a liaison between buyers and factories/suppliers to ensure order standards and due dates are met
- Meet with factory production management team regularly to identify production issues and resolve problems that will impact delivery
- Check MSRP info from USA and send to ticket department
- Issue DA for any changes and run reports to make sure all purchase orders are correct in the system
- Make sure all data up to date in system
- Track orders and update PSR every week
- Monitor inspection and shipment deliveries and communicate status on a weekly or daily basis as needed
- Monitor the production capacity across all factories to foresee any possible shipment delay and report to management on time
- Write up meeting recap to each vendor with all confirmed information
- Track and follow up on the process, work with the vendor if any design/ fabric change occurs after placing an order
- Check the comments of Photo 8 from website and forward to all vendors
- Work with vendor/factory merchant and production team to arrange inspection schedule
- Conduct pre-production meeting with factory production and quality team
- Ensure the factory production team understands PP comments and follow up on bulk production
- Special projects as assigned QA
