Director, Credit Portfolio Manager – Perú The position will be responsible for leading identification, origination, structuring, and execution of credit investment opportunities in the Peruvian market, for both locally and regionally focused strategies investing in credit, and for taking a leadership role in the portfolio management of the local credit strategies focused on Peruvian fixed‑income. 1. Investment Expertise
- Origination, structuring and execution of investment opportunities identified in the Peruvian market; both for USD private debt and local currency.
- Close coordination, reporting and teamwork with key Patria's regional credit teams on originating, structuring, and executing investment opportunities.
- Lead portfolio management responsibility of Peruvian credit focused strategies leveraging Patria's credit platform, tailored and adapted to local market conditions and investor needs.
- Lead investment due diligence process, ensuring thorough evaluation of investment opportunities, liaising with local advisors, regulators (when applicable), authorities, etc.
- Thorough understanding of the local corporate credit market, relevant participants, economic groups, industry dynamics, vast network and access, as well as an impeccable reputation. Work in partnership with the compliance team to develop and implement robust risk management frameworks to mitigate potential investment and regulatory risks.
- Leading with the local Commercial, Legal and Fund Services teams the development of credit funds and investment vehicles in the Peruvian market. 2. Strategic & Corporate Leadership
- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the local credit platform, aligning it with organizational goals and local market opportunities, worked in close coordination with the Sales team.
- Fully engage and represent Patria's core values and principles, becoming a senior representative of Patria's corporate culture and the credit vertical with the different stakeholders (i.e. local authorities, regulators, entrepreneur's community, local media, investors, shareholders, when applicable). 3. Fundraising
- Work in close coordination with the commercial team, identifying possible new credit product/solution opportunities.
- Represent Patria's Credit platform in Perú for roadshowing to clients and/or relevant events in partnership with other members of Patria's Credit platform. 4. Operational and Team Development
- As needed, establish, lead and manage a high‑performing team dedicated to the Peruvian credit side of Patria's credit platform.
- Lead the design and implementation of operational processes and systems to support an efficient domestic fund management platform, with flawless investment execution. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience
- Minimum of 10‑15 years in credit/investment banking (ECM, project finance, M&A;), with significant experience in origination, structuring and managing credit portfolios. Competences
- Expertise in credit origination, structuring, investment analysis and portfolio management.
- Problem‑solving skills and strategic thinking.
- Strong presentation skills for presenting investment cases in front of Patria's credit investment committee.
- Proven ability to invest, structure and execute credit transactions under a complex regulatory framework and volatile market environment.
- Excellent communication, extensive network, and ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Understanding of the local regulatory framework for funds and credit. Languages
- Native in Spanish, fluent in English, proficient in Portuguese. Attributes

- Ability to work independently while closely coordinating with Patria's regional credit team and Commercial team.
